rPlus Energies Welcomes Natalie Jackson as Chief Financial Officer

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--rPlus Energies, a leading private renewable energy developer, today announced the appointment of Natalie Jackson as its Chief Financial Officer. Jackson brings over 27 years of experience in project finance and development across the renewable and conventional power industries worldwide. Her distinguished career includes leadership roles at Clearway Energy Group, BrightSource Energy, Invenergy, SunPower, AES, and other industry-leading organizations.

“Having worked with Natalie in various capacities throughout my career, I couldn't be more thrilled that she has joined rPlus”

"rPlus Energies is a team of execution-oriented, community-minded energy experts. Their sustainable and rapid impact on the American West and beyond has impressed both the industry and me, and I'm excited to join this incredible team and help fuel their future growth,” said Natalie Jackson.

Prior to joining rPlus, Jackson served as Chief Capital Markets at TES-H2, a world leading hydrogen and e-NG developer and producer. Notably, at Clearway Energy Group, she was responsible for originating, structuring, and negotiating M&A and project level structured debt and tax equity transactions in the U.S., raising more than $8 billion in capital during her tenure.

"We are thrilled to welcome Natalie to the rPlus team," said Luigi Resta, President and CEO of rPlus Energies. "Her extensive experience in capital markets and project finance is arriving at a pivotal moment for us. As we aggressively expand and accelerate our portfolio, her expertise will be indispensable in driving our ambitious goals forward."

“Having worked with Natalie in various capacities throughout my career, I couldn't be more thrilled that she has joined rPlus,” said Jean Wilson, Operating Partner at Sandbrook Capital. “Her unique perspective and exceptional skills will undoubtedly enrich their already talented team.”

After a significant platform investment of up to $460 million from Sandbrook Capital earlier this year, rPlus Energies then secured over $1 billion in construction debt financing for its Utah-based 800-megawatts (MW) Green River Energy Center. After only five years, rPlus Energies has a portfolio of more than 15-gigawatts (GW) under development and over 1 GW under construction. The company’s track record includes over 400 MW of generating assets now in operation.
